Representative Jason Crow Secures Federal Funding for Immigrant Support Center in Aurora
Congressman Jason Crow, a Democratic U.S. Representative for Colorado's 6th congressional district, has played a pivotal role in the opening of the Roots Community Hub in Aurora. This center, operated by Project Worthmore, aims to provide essential resources to immigrant and refugee families. The establishment of the hub was made possible through $4 million in federal Community Project Funds secured by Crow. The center offers a variety of services, including job assistance, healthcare access, education, English language learning, and legal counsel. Crow emphasized the diversity and strength of the Aurora community, noting that about 20% of his constituents were born outside the United States, with over 130 languages spoken in the area.
