Nor'easter Brings Flooding and Strong Winds to Jersey Shore
A developing Nor'easter is impacting the Mid-Atlantic region, including Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore, and Delaware, with strong winds, tidal flooding, and beach erosion. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect until Saturday at 2:00 AM EDT for several counties in New Jersey and Delaware. Wind gusts could reach up to 55 mph along the coast, with the highest tides and flooding expected over the weekend. The National Weather Service has also issued a Wind Advisory for coastal areas, predicting sustained winds of 25–35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Moderate coastal flooding is expected during high tide cycles, particularly in back bay areas such as Barnegat Bay and Indian River Bay.
