Interactive Murals in the UK Highlight Stories of Former Homeless Individuals
A series of interactive murals have been installed in east London, Reading, and Bristol, celebrating the lives of individuals who have overcome homelessness with the support of the charity St Mungo's. The murals feature former rough sleepers and include QR codes that allow passersby to listen to their stories. The project aims to raise awareness about homelessness and challenge stereotypes by focusing on the personal journeys and achievements of those featured. The initiative coincides with a government pledge to end rough sleeping, with significant funding allocated to address the issue.
