Fort Worth Nonprofit Expands Support to Parents of College Students
Create + Collaborate, a nonprofit based in Fort Worth, has expanded its support services to include parents of first-year college students. This initiative, known as the Family Hub, was introduced at the nonprofit's annual leadership conference. The organization, which traditionally focuses on aiding young adults transitioning to college, recognized a growing need to support parents as well. The Family Hub provides guidance on financial support, mental health, and college and financial aid applications. This effort aims to improve college retention and completion rates by forming a supportive community for both students and their families.
