Texas Preschool Teacher Arrested for Allegedly Brandishing Gun in Road-Rage Incident
Latashia Deshawn Walker-County, a preschool teacher in Texas, was arrested following an alleged road-rage incident where she reportedly pointed a gun at another driver. The confrontation occurred in Bexar County, Texas, and was reported to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office by the victim. Walker-County, who is 51 years old, allegedly admitted to brandishing the firearm during the altercation. She was subsequently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and released on a $50,000 bond. Walker-County is employed at Essence Preparatory Public School in San Antonio, a tuition-free public charter school that is set to close at the end of the academic year due to low academic performance.
