Lockheed Martin Demonstrates New Counter-UAS Technology in U.S.-Moroccan Training
During Exercise 'African Lion 26' on May 5, Lockheed Martin demonstrated new counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technology in a U.S.-Moroccan training exercise. The demonstration involved the integration of Sanctum software with Fortem Technologies' F700 DroneHunter hexacopter. The exercise simulated a football game scenario in Agadir, Morocco, where a DJI UAS was captured using the technology. The event was part of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) training, with participation from Moroccan, Ghanaian, and Hungarian forces. The technology aims to enhance security measures against aerial threats.
