This decision was made after consulting with Major League Baseball, aiming to avoid the rain forecasted for midday and early afternoon. The adjustment is intended to provide the best opportunity to play the game under improved weather conditions later in the day. The teams have split the first two games of the four-game series, with the finale scheduled for Monday morning, coinciding with the traditional Patriots' Day celebration in Boston.
