These projects include the comprehensive redevelopment of MacArthur Mall, the ongoing construction of the Norfolk casino, the demolition of Military Circle Mall, and the approval of the East Street Garage project. The MacArthur Mall redevelopment envisions a complete transformation into a mixed-use area featuring retail, entertainment, a grocery store, new hotels, and both homeownership and rental housing options, centered around a family-friendly public square.
