NASA Announces Crew for Artemis III Mission to Test Lunar Landers
NASA has revealed the crew for its upcoming Artemis III mission, which will test lunar landers from SpaceX and Blue Origin in orbit for the first time. The mission, scheduled for late next year, will include US astronauts Andre Douglas, Frank Rubio, and Randy Bresnik, along with Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano from the European Space Agency. The mission aims to conduct a delicate docking demonstration of the moon landers. Andre Douglas and Frank Rubio will serve as mission specialists, while Luca Parmitano will be the pilot. Bob Hines, another NASA astronaut, will train as a backup crew member.
