This funding, revealed by U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy, is intended to support the training and development of aviation professionals, including pilots, mechanics, technicians, and drone operators. The initiative will fund various programs such as aviation training, apprenticeships, internships, student outreach, recruitment, and simulator-based pilot training.
