This update automatically enrolls teens into a specialized environment with robust safeguards against self-harm, violence, dangerous activities, and explicit content. A significant addition is 'Study Mode,' designed to guide students through problems with guiding questions and step-by-step support, rather than providing direct answers. Parents can now link their accounts to their teens' accounts, enabling them to set 'Quiet Hours,' manage specific settings, and receive safety notifications in high-risk situations. The setup process for parental controls is described as straightforward, involving parents adding family members via phone number or email, with the teen accepting the connection. This initiative aims to help teens learn, think critically, and deepen their understanding while ensuring a safer digital environment. The system also includes break reminders to encourage healthy technology habits.
