Henderson City Council Approves Redevelopment of Former Fiesta Henderson Site with Agora Realty
The city of Henderson has reached an agreement with California developer Agora Realty & Management Inc. for a significant redevelopment project on the 35-acre site of the former Fiesta Henderson hotel-casino. The plans, unveiled by city officials and Agora Realty, include a mixed-use complex featuring retail and office space, a hotel, and recreational sports facilities. The centerpiece of the development will be an indoor tournament sports complex, complemented by a youth sports field and other amenities. Agora Realty plans to acquire the site from the city for $30 million. This development follows previous negotiations with Utah real estate firm Woodbury Corporation, which did not result in a final agreement. The city had purchased the property in late 2022 for $32 million after Station Casinos demolished the hotel-casino.
