Bristol County Savings Bank Engages in Community Service with CARES Day Initiative
Bristol County Savings Bank recently held its fifth annual BCSB CARES: Employee Volunteer Day, during which more than 300 employees participated in volunteer activities across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The bank closed all its branch offices on May 28 to allow employees, along with staff from its affiliates Bristol Wealth Group and Milestone Mortgage Solutions, to volunteer at 18 nonprofit and municipal sites. The initiative is part of the bank's commitment to community involvement, as stated by John Silva, the bank's president and CEO. Volunteer projects were conducted in various locations, including Taunton, Attleboro, New Bedford, Fall River, and Rhode Island, supporting organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, My Brother’s Keeper, and Habitat for Humanity.
