Fire Causes Significant Damage to Home in Leland, North Carolina
A house fire in Leland, North Carolina, caused significant damage on August 6, 2026. The fire, which occurred on Amber Pines Drive, prompted a response from multiple fire departments, including those from Winnabow, Navassa, Northwest, Wilmington, and New Hanover County. The fire was brought under control within approximately 45 minutes, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Leland Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
