White House Considers Providing Federal Agencies with Anthropic Mythos AI Amid Cybersecurity Concerns
The U.S. government is contemplating making Anthropic PBC's advanced artificial intelligence model, Mythos, available to major federal agencies. This consideration comes amid concerns that the tool could significantly increase cybersecurity risks. Gregory Barbaccia, the federal chief information officer of the White House Office of Management and Budget, communicated to Cabinet departments that protections are being established to potentially allow agency use of Mythos.
