Council for Innovation Promotion Appoints Coke Morgan Stewart as President and CEO
The Council for Innovation Promotion (C4IP) has announced the appointment of Coke Morgan Stewart as its new President and CEO. Stewart, a nationally recognized leader in intellectual property law and policy, previously served as Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where she also held the position of acting director in 2025. Her extensive career includes nearly 12 years at the USPTO, working under four directors across different administrations, and senior legal and policy roles in government, academia, and private practice, including as a deputy attorney general for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her appointment is expected to mark a new phase for C4IP, aiming to expand its advocacy for robust intellectual property rights.
