Representative LaMonica McIver Introduces Bill to Reform Small Business Development Centers
Representative LaMonica McIver has introduced H.R. 9810, the Small Business Development Centers Improvement Act of 2026. This bill aims to reform the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program. Key changes include limiting the creation of new SBA entrepreneurial support programs without congressional authorization, requiring the SBA to notify Congress before providing certain activities, and adding detailed reporting requirements.
