The mission included NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen. The event was significant for the local community, as several Washington-based companies contributed to the mission's success, including Karman Space and Defense and L3Harris. The mission is part of NASA's broader plan for deep space exploration, aiming to establish a lunar base in the future.
