Wail Alselwi, co-owner and manager of Zack's Finest Deli & Grocery in Staten Island, known as "Island Ock," has gained viral attention for his 'Grades for Grabs' initiative. This program rewards local students with cash and snacks for achieving good grades and academic progress. The initiative began with a simple bet with one student, Zameir Davis, and has since grown into a significant movement, attracting thousands of children to the deli to present their report cards. Students with high marks can receive up to $100 in cash, along with various snacks and school supplies.
