Helen Rogal, Esteemed Chicago Lawyer, Passes Away at 89
Helen R. Rogal, a respected domestic relations lawyer in Chicago, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 18, 1936, in Waterbury, Connecticut, she was the firstborn child of Joseph and Mary Moran. Rogal graduated from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven and John Marshall College of Law in Chicago. Throughout her career, she was deeply involved with the bar association, serving on several committees and participating in judicial electoral evaluations. Rogal was also active in the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and a member of the Chicago Literary Club, where she presented numerous original papers. Her passion for hiking led her to join the Forest Trails Hiking Club, participating in challenging hikes across Wisconsin. She was an avid traveler, having visited all seven continents.
