Resilience Healthcare Sues Business Partner Over Eviction Notices at West Suburban Medical Center
Resilience Healthcare, led by CEO Dr. Manoj Prasad, has filed a lawsuit against Ramco Healthcare Holdings, owned by Reddy Rathnaker Patlola, in Cook County Circuit Court. The lawsuit arises from eviction notices issued to West Suburban Medical Center, demanding over $24 million in rent. Resilience alleges that Ramco is attempting to sabotage operations at West Suburban and Weiss Memorial Hospital for financial gain. The dispute centers around lease terms agreed upon when Resilience and Ramco acquired the hospitals in 2022. Resilience claims Ramco has failed to perform necessary repairs, leading to deteriorating conditions. The Chicago Medical Society has requested intervention from Governor JB Pritzker to reopen the hospital, citing risks to patient care.
