Gamer Repurposes Subway Menu PCs for Gaming with Limited Success
A tech enthusiast has attempted to convert three fanless mini PCs, originally used for displaying Subway sandwich menus, into gaming rigs. These PCs, equipped with Intel Core i3 processors, were found to be inadequate for modern AAA gaming, achieving only 15 fps in GTA V and 25 fps in Minecraft. Despite doubling the RAM, the systems struggled with performance due to their outdated hardware specifications. The project highlights the challenges of repurposing older technology for demanding applications.
