Oracle Releases Record 1,449 Security Patches Amid AI-Driven Vulnerability Detection
Oracle has released 1,449 security patches as part of its quarterly security updates, marking a record number of fixes. The increase in patches is attributed to Oracle's internal push to harness AI for vulnerability detection. The patches span numerous products, reflecting the scale of Oracle's product portfolio. Experts note that the volume of patches poses an operational challenge for enterprise IT teams, who must prioritize critical threats without disrupting business operations. Oracle has also introduced monthly Critical Security Patch Updates (CSPUs) to address the most pressing vulnerabilities.
