YouTube Integrates AI Features to Enhance User Experience and Content Creation
YouTube is introducing new artificial intelligence features to its platform, including 'Ask YouTube' and the Gemini Omni video model. 'Ask YouTube' is an AI tool integrated into the YouTube search bar, allowing users to perform more complex and precise searches. This feature is currently being tested for Premium subscribers in the U.S. Additionally, the Gemini Omni model is being added to YouTube Shorts Remix and the YouTube Create app, aiming to improve user intent understanding and story coherence. This model automates complex video and audio settings, simplifying the content creation process. YouTube is also expanding its 'likeness-detection' tool to protect creators from deepfake technology, allowing them to request the removal of videos that illegally use their likeness.
