Mets place SS Francisco Lindor (calf) on 10-day IL
The New York Mets placed shortstop Francisco Lindor on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left calf strain. Fellow infielder Ronny Mauricio was called up from Triple-A Syracuse to replace Lindor, who sustained the injury Wednesday in the Mets' first win in the past 12 games.
