Oakland Park Businessman Arrested for Illegal Chemical Dumping
Gonzalo Javier Paul, a business owner in Oakland Park, Florida, has been arrested on a felony littering charge after instructing an employee to dump 38 drums of chemicals into a storm drain. The incident occurred at International Parts Service, where Paul is the registered agent. The illegal dumping was witnessed by an Oakland Park Fire Rescue captain, leading to the involvement of the Broward Sheriff's Office. Paul is currently held at the BSO Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale on a $2,500 bond.
