Dubuque Residents Engage in Data Center Development Discussions
Over 200 residents of Dubuque, Iowa, attended a public input session at the Grand River Center to discuss potential data center developments. The city organized the session to gather feedback and guide the creation of a future data center ordinance. Although no formal proposals have been submitted, the city is proactively establishing regulations in anticipation of future projects. Discussions focused on water consumption, electric grid demands, zoning, and developer accountability. A second meeting is scheduled, and an online survey is available for additional input.
