KH Law Firm Launches Second Annual Educator of the Year Award to Honor Mankato Teachers
KH Law, a law firm based in Southern Minnesota, has announced the launch of its second annual Educator of the Year Award. This initiative aims to recognize outstanding educators in the Mankato area and the ISD77 community. The award, which includes a $500 cash prize, public recognition, and a commemorative award, is open to educators serving in public or private schools from preschool through K-12. Last year's inaugural award was given to Mrs. Jan Willeart of Loyola Catholic Schools for her dedication and leadership. The firm, led by partner Jason Kohlmeyer, a former educator, emphasizes the importance of acknowledging the significant impact teachers have on students and the community. Nominations for this year's award are open to students, parents, fellow teachers, administrators, and school staff, and can be submitted online through the KH Law website until May 28, 2026.
