UK Government's Digital Inclusion Drive Distributes Thousands of Devices
The UK government has made significant strides in its digital inclusion efforts, distributing 22,000 devices to community centers and individuals in need over the past year. This initiative, part of the Digital Inclusion Action Plan, aims to combat digital exclusion by providing access to technology and internet services. The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, along with other government bodies, has been instrumental in these efforts, which include refurbishing and donating devices and launching the IT Reuse for Good charter to encourage further donations.
