Flossmoor Village Board Approves Purchase of Sculpture for Public Art Collection
The Flossmoor Village Board has unanimously approved the acquisition of a sculpture by French artist Nicolas Dubreuille, titled Sans Titre Ref. 366, for $4,000. This vibrant purple, powder-coated aluminum piece has been a familiar landmark near the Flossmoor Public Library. The decision to purchase the sculpture was recommended by the Public Art Commission during its meeting on June 8. The sculpture will now become a permanent part of the village's public art collection, enhancing the cultural landscape of the area.
