Five New Jersey Suburbs Ranked Among Nation's Wealthiest, Featuring Million-Dollar Home Values
Five New Jersey communities—Westfield, Summit, Tenafly, Princeton, and Ridgewood—have been identified by the personal finance website MoneyLion as among the 50 wealthiest suburbs in the United States. In four of these five communities, the typical home value now exceeds $1 million. As of April, MoneyLion's analysis, using the Zillow Home Value Index, showed average home values ranging from approximately $1.06 million in Princeton to nearly $1.46 million in Summit. Summit, ranked 32nd nationally, has the most expensive housing market among the New Jersey communities on the list, with an average home value of about $1.46 million in April, an 11.4% increase from the previous year. Westfield, ranked 30th nationally, is the highest-ranked New Jersey suburb, with an average home value of about $1.32 million in April, an 8.4% increase from a year earlier.
