Ithaca Appoints New HR Director to Enhance Workforce Management
The City of Ithaca has appointed Dr. Kehar Khan as the new Director of Human Resources. Dr. Khan brings over two decades of experience in workforce management and organizational leadership, having worked across public, nonprofit, and academic sectors. His previous role was as Director of Human Resources for NeighborWorks Community Partners in Rochester, where he focused on modernizing HR operations. Dr. Khan's appointment is expected to strengthen Ithaca's internal operations, with a focus on improving workforce systems, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. He holds a PhD in Human Resources and Organization Development and has extensive experience in leadership development and executive coaching.
