DefTech Unveils New Unmanned Systems at DSA 2026
Malaysian company DefTech, in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has introduced a new family of unmanned systems at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. The lineup includes a medium unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), a small UGV, and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The medium UGV, named Tactical Utility Autonomous Vehicle (TUAH), is designed for both civilian and military applications such as reconnaissance, surveillance, and border patrol missions. The system utilizes localized artificial intelligence (AI) processing, allowing it to operate autonomously even without internet connectivity. Operational data can be transmitted to a centralized system when connectivity is available, providing operators and command centers with comprehensive situational awareness.
