Stallergenes Greer Foundation Awards €100,000 to Innovators in Allergy Research
The Stallergenes Greer Foundation has announced the recipients of its 2025 Science Awards for Allergy, recognizing significant contributions to allergy research and patient engagement. The awards, totaling €100,000, were distributed among four researchers who excelled in two categories: Innovation in Treatment and Patient Commitment. The recipients include Assoc. Professor Alexander Eggel from the University of Bern, Dr. Janice A. Layhadi from Imperial College London, Dr. Laurent Reber from Inserm, and Dr. Pablo Rodríguez del Río from Hospital Infantil Universitario Niño Jesús. Their research spans from improving diagnostic and therapeutic options for allergic patients to developing allergen-specific mRNA vaccines and understanding patient perspectives in food immunotherapy.
