Forbes Ranks Prairie View A&M Third Among Public HBCUs
Forbes has released its inaugural ranking of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), with Prairie View A&M University securing a prominent position among public institutions. The Texas-based university is recognized for its strong performance in student outcomes, particularly in alumni earnings. Prairie View A&M graduates report median early-career pay of $72,300 and mid-career pay of $117,900. The ranking emphasizes student success metrics such as graduation rates, retention rates, and return on investment, highlighting the university's role in advancing educational and economic opportunities for its students.
