San Diego Congresswoman Votes Against Funding Israeli Military Operations
Rep. Sara Jacobs, a San Diego congresswoman, voted against a bill to provide $3.3 billion in funding for Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. Jacobs, the youngest Jewish member of Congress, was the only San Diego representative to oppose the funding, citing concerns over the humanitarian impact of Israeli military actions. Her decision reflects a broader shift among Democrats, with more than half supporting the effort to halt the funding.
