Approximately 2,000 hospitality workers at SoFi Stadium have voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike, as reported by the Wall Street Journal via Sports Business Journal. This decision comes as the stadium prepares to host the U.S. men's national team's opening match against Paraguay on June 12, during the World Cup. Union officials have indicated that this match would be an opportune moment to initiate a work stoppage. Legends Global, the company responsible for operating concessions at the stadium, has expressed confidence in reaching an agreement with the workers. However, they have also prepared a contingency staffing plan in case the strike proceeds.
