Capri by Fraser Launches Design-Led Hotel in Penang, Integrating Heritage and Modernity
Capri by Fraser has announced the soft opening of its new hotel in Penang, Malaysia, marking the brand's debut in the region. The hotel is located at 31 Jalan Magazine, near George Town's UNESCO World Heritage Site. The property features a 22-storey tower and a preserved heritage shophouse, designed by architect Lian Kian Lek to blend old and new elements. The hotel offers 248 rooms and residences, equipped with modern amenities such as IPTV with Google Cast and digital concierge access. The Den, a social space within the hotel, serves as a hub for gatherings and dining, featuring a Grab & Go counter in collaboration with Norm Micro Roastery. The hotel also includes a swimming pool, gym, yoga room, and EV charging stations, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
