Rokid's AI Glasses Outsell Meta's Ray-Ban Display in China
Rokid, a leading Chinese company in the smart glasses market, has surpassed Meta's Ray-Ban Display in sales within China. Despite being priced $100 higher than its closest competitor, Alibaba, Rokid's AI-powered frames have maintained the top sales position for three months, according to JD.com. The glasses feature a virtual screen that displays text during presentations, a popular feature among executives and government officials. Rokid is expanding its global reach, shipping to countries like the U.K. and Canada, while Meta has delayed its overseas release due to high U.S. demand. The global AI glasses market is projected to grow by over 70% this year, with Chinese sales expected to double.
