White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles Impersonated in Messages with UK Prime Minister
The White House has been notified of a second incident involving an impersonator of Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The new British Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, exchanged messages with an individual he believed to be Wiles before realizing it was an imposter. This event follows a previous incident 15 months prior where Wiles' phone was reportedly compromised, leading to an FBI and White House investigation. During that earlier breach, prominent Republicans and business leaders received communications from someone posing as Wiles. While the content of the recent messages with Prime Minister Burnham is unknown, the British Embassy in Washington quickly informed the White House. A White House official stated that the incident did not involve Wiles' devices being hacked, and a source close to Wiles indicated she did not possess Burnham's cell number. President Trump had previously dismissed reports of Wiles' phone being hacked in May 2025, asserting that 'Nobody can impersonate Susie.'
