High School Students Launch Personal Businesses at CEO Trade Show
A group of high school students from the Lyon and Murray County CEO Program showcased their self-started businesses at the annual trade show held at the Red Baron Arena in Marshall. The program, which began in 2022, provides students with the opportunity to create and develop their own businesses while receiving mentorship from local entrepreneurs. Among the businesses presented were car detailing services, clothing brands, and a fishing tackle store. Students like Yousef Bahjat and Riley Pfannschmidt have turned their interests into viable businesses, offering services such as car detailing and customization. Other students, such as Braden Nibbe and Gavin Wieme, have ventured into excavation services, while Luke Iverson and Caleb Rosenbrook have launched an outdoor clothing line. The event highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of these young individuals, who have been working on their projects throughout the year.
