ICMM Highlights Zero Emissions Vehicles at Electric Mine Conference
The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) is emphasizing the adoption of zero emissions vehicles in surface mining at the Electric Mine Conference in Lisbon. The ICMM aims to scale up the use of these vehicles by 2030, with full adoption targeted by 2040. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the mining industry.
