Egyptian Government Launches Initiative to Enhance Global Workforce Competitiveness
The Egyptian government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, has launched a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the global competitiveness of its workforce. This initiative, known as the 'One Million International Licenses,' seeks to equip one million young Egyptians with internationally accredited certifications in various technical and professional fields. The program is part of a broader effort to align Egypt's workforce with global labor market demands, focusing on digital skills, foreign language proficiency, and freelance work capabilities. The initiative was announced during a ceremony organized by the Education Development Fund, reflecting Egypt's commitment to building a knowledge-based economy. The program also includes the establishment of the International Labor Market Observatory, which will monitor global labor trends and guide educational pathways in Egypt.
