Pittsburgh Officials Urge Public Transit Use for Upcoming NFL Draft
With the NFL draft set to take place in Pittsburgh, city officials are encouraging residents and visitors to use public transportation to avoid potential traffic congestion. Pittsburgh Regional Transit is offering free rides on the light-rail system, known locally as the 'T', and the 'Football Flyer' bus routes to facilitate easy access to the event. The initiative aims to mitigate gridlock and ensure smooth transportation for the large number of attendees expected. The transit system is adjusting its schedule to accommodate increased demand, with light-rail cars running every 15 minutes.
