KNDS France Completes Acquisition of Texelis Defense, Expanding European Land Defense Capabilities
KNDS France has finalized its acquisition of Texelis Defense, which will now operate under the name KNDS Mobility. This strategic move enhances KNDS's manufacturing capacity and technological scope within the European land defense sector. The acquisition brings expertise in land mobility for military vehicles, including both wheeled and tracked vehicles, into the KNDS Group. This integration allows KNDS to address a broader range of technical challenges such as energy optimization, platform autonomy, and advanced mobility. The acquisition aligns with KNDS's goal to expand its industrial base and secure essential supply channels, which is crucial for supporting increased production and maintaining control over key technological assets. The company plans to retain KNDS Mobility's operational teams and continue honoring existing contracts and projects.
