Jubilee Metals Expands Molefe Copper Project in Zambia
Jubilee Metals is advancing its Molefe copper project in Zambia with a four-month stripping program aimed at increasing mining rates significantly. The project plans to combine Pits 2 and 3 into a larger open pit, targeting a broader copper reef package. This expansion is part of Zambia's strategy to boost copper output, aiming for one million tons in 2026 and three million tons annually by 2031. The Molefe project exemplifies Zambia's evolving mining model, focusing on faster development and integration of mine-to-processing operations.
