Charleston County Advances $5.5 Million Savannah Highway Upgrade Project
Charleston County is moving forward with a $5.5 million improvement project for Savannah Highway in West Ashley, South Carolina. The project targets two key intersections: Wappoo Road and Savannah Highway, and Dupont Road and Stinson Drive. County staff are recommending that the Charleston County Council award a construction contract for the project. The finance committee is scheduled to review the contract before it goes to the County Council next week for final approval.
