ARPA-H Launches $144 Million Initiative to Address Microplastics in Human Health
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has announced the launch of STOMP, a $144 million program aimed at addressing the impact of microplastics on human health. The initiative seeks to develop tools for measuring, researching, and removing microplastics from the human body. The program will focus on understanding how microplastics accumulate in organs and their potential health effects, with the goal of creating targeted solutions to mitigate these risks.
