These include digital nomad visas and temporary residency permits, which often have lower financial requirements and provide flexibility for remote work. For instance, Mexico offers a temporary residency visa that can lead to permanent residency, while Portugal's D7 and D8 visas cater to retirees and remote workers, respectively. These initiatives aim to attract individuals seeking new cultural experiences, better climates, or lower living costs.
