Ex-FBI Agent Theorizes Religious Motive in Nancy Guthrie Ransom Notes
A former FBI agent, Jennifer Coffindaffer, has proposed a theory regarding the ransom notes linked to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC's Today co-host Savannah Guthrie. Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since January 31, with authorities suspecting kidnapping after finding blood on her porch. Coffindaffer suggested that the ransom notes might have religious undertones, as Savannah Guthrie's responses to the notes were sometimes religious. The investigation, led by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, has not yet identified a suspect, although surveillance footage shows a masked man at Guthrie's door. The case remains active, with authorities urging anyone with information to contact the FBI.
